Dream Theater is coming to Toronto on March 22! I'm there! I'll probably just buy two tix and then try to find someone to go along. I thought about getting the premium package and going alone, but I'll wait until next time. Maybe I'll have my white Ibanez finished and ready for autographs by that time. Regardless, I'm psyched. I've only seen DT on package tours ('03 with Queensrÿche and '05 on Gigantour) so it will be really nice to see an Evening With show. I just hope they play 'Octavarium.' :-D

The Lurid reunion appears to be taking the next step. The band, minus Jeff, is getting together for a jam on Sunday. Should be fun, if nothing else. Things have been interesting at work. I got all but four of my hours back because of shortages. The Why Guy did his noon segment there on Thursday, Ryan Miller and Paul Gaustad showed up this evening and I ran into an old classmate from way back in the good ol' GT days. I think I should take my car in. The shifting seems off (thank goodness the transmission is still under warranty!), the car is lacking kick in general, and I think the odometer is going bad--going from home to the gallery to BK for lunch, back to the gallery, and then to the Grease Pit for my paycheck before going home registered as 8 miles. That should have been about 12. I need to talk to Bridge and decide if I'm going to the Sonata Arctica concert in Cleveland...and if I am going, I definitely need to get the car taken care of beforehand. Oh, and I'm probably getting together with Amber on Tuesday. Hooray for having a life. I really should touch base with people.

They say the holidays are times for reunions and such. Well, that was true for me. I got together with Bridge on Tuesday, which was great. I was so happy to see her again. We hung out for a while and got lunch. We talked about catching a concert together sometime in Cleveland. A couple days later, I found out that Sonata Arctica will be there on (I think) 1/29. They're playing Rochester on 1/14; I may just go to both shows. Opeth is rolling out their US tour dates starting in mid-February and Dream Theater will probably be touring this spring, so there are other possibilities. Yesterday, I went to Target after work to pick up an ink cartridge. While there, I ran into a couple old friends there. Strange, but cool. Anyway, I had my dad take a pic of Bridge and me while she was here. I need more pics with my friends. :)

Personally, I think she got the better end of that photo. ;)
